As a PRPS™ educator, you will have some startup costs. The following is an outline of expenses you can anticipate throughout the year when you are generating revenue from teaching your classes. Get your license now.
Licensing Fee.
The initial licensing fee of $199, and then $99 annual licensing fee thereafter.
Continuing Fee.
A continuing fee of 18 percent of gross tuition revenues.
Craft Kit Purchases.
$12 per student, per class to be purchased from PRPS™ in sets of 12.
Liability insurance.
Industry premiums vary depending on your location and unique situation.
Basic arts & crafts tools and supplies to accommodate your class.
Approximate cost of $200-400 the first year.
Marketing materials for promoting your classes.
Average cost of $200-400 per year. If you teach through your local community center, you may not have this expense.
Facility Rental.
Cost varies from city to city and depends on classroom size. If you opt to teach from your home, you will not have this expense.

Some supplies you will need:
Scissors, glue, paints, aprons, crayons, markers, etc.
Miscellaneous craft supplies for the Arts & Crafts Exploration Table such as chenille stems, pom poms, craft sticks, stickers, googly eyes, construction paper, etc.
A computer system: a PC, printer, access to email and the Internet, and a Paypal account for processing online registrations.
A telephone with voice mail or an answering machine.
